Milk Plastic? Will it Work!

For Topic this week, we are learning about "Changes in Matter". We had to identify the difference between Physical and Chemical change. After we went and learned about it there were experiments that we got to choose from that you can do with HOUSEHOLD items. I decided to do Milk Plastic Tags.
This is how mine went...

That is when I first put one cup of milk into the glass.

This is when I put it in the microwave for 2 minutes.

After adding the vinegar in and mixing a tiny bit.

After mixing for a minute.

This is after straining.

These is all the colours I wanted to make my plastic.

I added my mixture into the colours and mixed (I only used the yellow in the end.)

And Done!!!!! Now I have to wait 2 or more days for it to dry!

Online School...

As of today, most of New Zealand should have been starting Term 2 online (if they go to school). At first I thought it was going to be scary and I didn't want to show my face on the 'Hangout' sessions. But in the end it was alright. There wasn't much talking to be done and it isn't that bad to say "good morning" them mute. And you didn't have to speak, you could type in the chat. the work is a little bit overwhelming but I think everyone including myself will get used to it. And for lunch we get and 1 hour and 10 minute break, so yeah, I ain't complaining!
I hope that everyone stays safe through this time of disruption in our community.
