Online School...

As of today, most of New Zealand should have been starting Term 2 online (if they go to school). At first I thought it was going to be scary and I didn't want to show my face on the 'Hangout' sessions. But in the end it was alright. There wasn't much talking to be done and it isn't that bad to say "good morning" them mute. And you didn't have to speak, you could type in the chat. the work is a little bit overwhelming but I think everyone including myself will get used to it. And for lunch we get and 1 hour and 10 minute break, so yeah, I ain't complaining!
I hope that everyone stays safe through this time of disruption in our community.

  1. Hi Lauren,

I'm glad it wasn't too scary in the end. I felt a bit like that as well this morning. I think the Hangouts were a success and yes there is a lot of work. Please don't feel too overwhelmed by this, just work through at your own pace. I am pleased to see that you are engaging with your learning! Keep up the awesome work!

  4. Hi Lauren
I certainly agree with you, it was very unusual to have schooling this way but I also found it fun to see everyone in their bubble. Did you find anything funny when you went on Hangouts?? Keep up the great work.
