Starry night & Matariki Poem...

WALT: Recreate a famous artist's painting, while incorporating New Zealand themes and celebrations!






We had to use Vincent Van Gogh's painting called "Starry Night" and we had to incorporate Matariki somehow so we added seven stars instead of 12 from the original. Then we painted it after a lot of research on Vincent Van Gogh. Then we had to make a poem about stars to represent the Matariki stars.

    Hi Lauren,
    I really enjoyed reading your poem about Matariki. I really liked the way you used lots of descriptive words. Next time maybe you could change the colour of the font.
